The God of Small Things - chapter 13

Choose a short passage or quotation from chapter 13. Analyse it and explain why you chose it. Does it relate to postcolonial writing? Due by Monday, December 5th.

What to do:

The purpose of blog posts is to encourage discussion while giving everyone a chance to express their ideas. I'm looking for a personal, individual and well-informed response to the text or topic we're exploring. Insight and analysis are key words here.

You need to go beneath the surface of the text, making connections, asking good questions, and finding evidence (quotations and examples) from the text to support your ideas.

Please read and respond to your classmates' posts. Think of it as a collaboration: reinforce, question, and expand on one another's ideas.

Do your best with spelling and grammar, but don't stress about it. Blogs are by nature less formal; what's important is to let the ideas to flow!
